Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Salah Reminder ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Technexa Innovations ("we", "us", "our").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Salah Reminder is an Islamic spirituality application that provides:

• Prayer time calculations and adhan notifications
• Mindful app pause functionality for monitored applications
• Dua and dhikr content from authenticated Islamic sources
• Quran reading in multiple scripts and translations
• Prayer tracking, streak monitoring, and spiritual analytics
• Qibla direction using device sensors

The App may be used by families and children with appropriate parent or guardian guidance. Users under 13 should use the App with parent or guardian supervision, especially when enabling sign-in or device permissions.

The App is available worldwide. It is your responsibility to ensure that use of the App is legal in your jurisdiction.

Most features of Salah Reminder work without an account. Optional Google sign-in is used for authentication only.

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
• You agree not to share your account access with others
• You may sign out or request deletion of account-related data

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Salah Reminder is designed for beneficial Islamic habit-building. The App does not provide advertising, social feeds, chat, public comments, dating, gambling, mature entertainment, or user-generated public content.

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the App is suitable for a child in their care and for supervising permission settings, account sign-in, and device-level app monitoring features.

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to extract or copy proprietary assets, code, or content
• Use the App to distribute malware or interfere with other systems
• Create derivative works based on the App without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the App
• Circumvent any technical restrictions or security features
• Use the App in any way that could damage our reputation or the reputation of Islam

Salah Reminder takes the accuracy of Islamic content seriously. All duas, adhkar, Quran text, and hadith displayed in the App are sourced from authenticated collections and verified Mushaf text.

Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic calculation methods via the Aladhan API. Times may vary slightly from your local mosque due to calculation method differences. Always defer to your local mosque or Islamic authority for confirmed prayer times in your area.

The App, including its source code, design, graphics, and non-Quranic content, is the intellectual property of Technexa Innovations and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

The Quran text is sourced from Tanzil.net (CC BY 3.0) and translations are used under their respective licences (Saheeh International, Kemenag RI, etc.). Islamic icon assets are used under the flutter_islamic_icons package licence (BSD-2-Clause).

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand names.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy of prayer times (always verify with local authorities for fardh prayer confirmation)
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for any particular purpose
• Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions

The mindful app-pause feature depends on Android Accessibility Service and iOS Screen Time API. Device-level restrictions, operating system updates, or manufacturer customisations may affect its functioning.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technexa Innovations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Missed prayers due to adhan alarm failure
• Data loss arising from device failure or app uninstallation
• Decisions made based on prayer times, dua content, or any other content in the App

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (or zero, if the App was free).

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, locally stored data remains on your device until you manually delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the App.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kerala, India.
